NCSU Avent Ferry Building

Description:  It can be challenging to reconcile a vision of a healthy organization with the demands of project management for the project manager, for the project team, and for the bottom line of the organization.  This is not a talk about how to follow project management principles, there are great resources out there that talk about that and offer great value.  Rather, the focus is on the research-based findings that integrating wellbeing into project management results in better outcomes.

The purpose of this presentation is to identify specific, tangible steps that can be taken for a healthy approach to project management as well as to raise broader awareness about the impact of employee and contractor wellbeing on each of the five phases of project management as well as throughout the operational life of the implementation.
