Abstract:

In today's socially intense climate, it is vitally important for organization and marketplace leaders to develop Emotional Intelligence and apply it effectively. Science journalist Daniel Goldman says, "Emotional Intelligence is the sine qua non of leadership." Throughout my experience in the hospitality and education field and now the millennial life coach, I completely concur with Goldman's research. We need leaders who can galvanize complex personality groups beyond the realm of analytics. Your level of emotional readiness will determine how well you are able to help transform others.

Susan G. Komen Triangle Race for the Cure

Online

Hello NCPMI!  We have exciting news! NCPMI has joined again the fight against breast cancer to help Komen fund breakthrough discoveries, and to ensure people facing breast cancer today receive the care they need to live longer, better lives. We have started a team for this year’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and we are looking for 8-10 volunteers to join us on September 12.

Due to the ongoing pandemic and concerns with being able to gather safely, this year’s race will be virtual, you can #RaceWhereYouAre. Whether you walk or race for a friend who is newly-diagnosed, a co-worker living with this disease, in memory of a loved one, or for yourself, we’re stronger when we walk together – even when we’re apart. No one should face breast cancer alone.
