These essential factors aid in how we effectively complete our assignments and how we efficiently manage our projects and teams. Without understanding how to successfully navigate the complexities of competing priorities, it can have drastic impacts on business relationships and outcomes. Abstract:

Today, in the face of information overload, and choice overload, our decision-making tends to become overly influenced by personal biases, intuition, prior experience, illusions, and perception.

This workshop will help you recognize, and identify the Perils & Pitfalls of Decision-Making; and make you aware of the Decision-Contamination, and Decision-Manipulation. Finally, we will get an insight into Analytical Decision-Making, as a remedy. We will also present the tools, and techniques, available to make decisions that are timely, consistent, optimal, and defensible.

The greatest misunderstanding about negotiating is that it is adversarial in nature. In reality, it is a problem-solving process where each side sees the other as a potential partner – it is not designed for those with a trial or debating mentality.

After this one-hour session, learners will be able to:

• Recognize human irrationality and illusions that creep into decision making
• Understand key factors that impact decision making
• Make bid-evaluation and vendor-selection defensible
