Presenter:

Dr. John Leonard, PMP is a US Coast Guard senior officer military veteran and Texas A&M PhD in marine environmental Geographic Information Systems.  John is a local volunteer since joining PMI in 1998, he has been an active participant as our North Carolina Chapter has grown from about 200 to nearly 4000 members.  Dr. John is an experienced IT project delivery PMP who since 2009 has become an agile PM and coach-trainer, leading $10M scaled scrum and digital transformation technology projects for large global enterprise clients in RTP.  As a consulting Agile Program Manager with IBM, John has earned many agile scrum certifications including PMI-ACP, Disciplined Agile Coach, and DA Senior Scrum Master.  He is 2022 NCPMI Agile Community of Practice co-chair with Derek Ketterer, as well as Disciplined Agile Champion for the NCPMI chapter.
