Presentation Title: Delivering Successful Projects …Every Time
Presentation Description: Although many successful project management practitioners are “accidental project managers,” successful projects should not be “accidental.” By utilizing major contributors to project success and avoiding the leading causes of project failure, project success should be predictable and repeatable, instead of a hit-and-miss occurrence.
As project practitioners, regardless of our project role (e.g., developers, project leads, QA, testers, release managers, project managers), we all have a responsibility to do our part in contributing to successful project delivery. Delivering successful projects is a team effort. Successful projects are a team success.
Research studies have identified the reasons for project failure and reasons for project success. This presentation describes an approach for consistent delivery of successful projects, by focusing on three major contributors to project success, implemented in collaboration with stakeholders:

PMI-ACP Prep Class Summer 2017REGISTRATION: Limited to the first 18 students to sign up CLASS DATES: August 3rd – 5th CLASS TIMES: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM COST: $850 for NCPMI Members, $950 for Non Members This is a 3 day instructor led class covering the material needed to prepare and pass the PMI-ACP Agile certification. Class size is limited to a maximum of 18 students, with registrations accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Furthermore, if a student attempts the PMI-ACP exam within four weeks of the class completion and does not pass, a second exam voucher at the PMI-member rate will be provided free of charge. NOTE: The following topics for the PMI-ACP examination will be covered during this 3 day instructor led class.
