Abstract

We all remember our first car and driving experience.  Responsibilities and priorities change many times throughout our lives and so do the ways we drive. Learning to drive a 5 speed car is similar to running a project.   Denise will share her experiences over the years and how it has influenced her decision-making. 

Learning Objective:

Participants will gain insight into the 5 phases of manual driving and driving projects with successful outcomes.

About the Speaker

Denise Baker, PMP, has worked in the Telecommunications Industry for over 18 years She is the model from which excellent servant leaders are made. A leader by example, with a broad smile and a warm personality, she keeps going and giving year after year.

In 2019 Denise served as President of the NC Project Management Institute and President of NC Project Leaders Toastmasters, all at the same time.

A proud and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, She enjoys entertaining family and friends, the Kentucky Derby, and playing Candy Crush.
