Abstract

This session will be an interactive workshop where each audience member will develop their own 6-Word Story. Why would we do this?  In Toastmasters and life we learn over time what a gift it is to be precise, succinct.  We have been taught to have an "elevator speech" at the ready.  What if the elevator only goes up one floor?  What if the CEO of your company meets you one day and says "What do you do for the company?" The 6-Word Story can be used in a variety of facets of your life.  We will discuss the possibilities. Our workshop will allow you to develop a 6-word story about who you are professionally or personally.

Learning Objective

The learning goal is to develop a message that meets your needs: emotional, impactful or informative. You will decide how your 6-word story will be conveyed.  I invite you to join us in being concise about yourself!
