Abstract:
Microsoft's Project Server offering has traditionally struggled to gain general market acceptance in a very crowded Enterprise Project Management (EPM) tools space. However, with the release of Project Online, fully integrated with SharePoint Online and with a ready-to-use cloud-based option, it appears poised to emerge as a leader. This fully integrated Enterprise Project Management and Collaboration platform enables project teams to upgrade portfolio, program, and project management best practices throughout the project life cycle. This seminar provides a demonstration of capabilities of Project Online in the areas:

  • Project Initiation & Portfolio Analysis
  • Project Execution
  • Resource Management
  • Measuring Performance

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. Understand the impact of EPM solutions on your PMO’s best practices
  2. Discover critical success factors associated with implementing EPM solutions
  3. Demonstrate the key capabilities of Microsoft’s Project Online
  4. Understand the next steps to begin upgrading your PMO’s EPM platform
