Abstract

Organizations of all sizes and across all industries are benefiting from improved business agility through the adoption of agile delivery practices.  The transformation happens over time and inevitably creates conflict with long-standing organizational processes.   The PMO (and the PMs that work on its behalf) are at the heart of this conflict.   So, what happens to the PMO when delivery practices are turned upside down?  What is the role of the PM in this new world…now and in the future?   What opportunities exist for PMs to add even greater value to the organizations which they serve? Let’s challenge the status quo.  Maybe there isn’t much of a conflict after all.
