Communications CoP: Humorous Speech and Evaluation ContestsCisco Campus - Building 12 (Vienna, Warsaw, Madrid) This is a NCPMI Communication & Public Speaking CoP- NCPL Toastmasters Club Meeting. The Meeting includes prepared speech, table topics, networking, evaluations, jokes and multiple meeting operations roles. 10-09-2018: 5:30 pm -8:00 pm (5.30-6.00 Registration, Snack & Pre-meeting Networking) Cisco Campus - Building 12 (Vienna, Warsaw, Madrid) Abstract Speech Contests provide excellent opportunities to accelerate the development of speaking skills. The competitive environment causes contestants to spend several hours writing, rewriting and rehearsing the delivery of their speech. This activity requires focus, energy and intense desire, and often produces the contestants' best work. A speech contest is a project, which offers opportunities to practice and develop leadership and project management skills in a low risk environment. This contest will involve speech evaluations and humorous speeches, which often provide a rich source of entertainment for the audience. Learning Objectives Participants will:
