This is a NCPMI Communication & Public Speaking CoP- NCPL Toastmasters Club Meeting.
The Meeting includes prepared speeches, table topics, networking, evaluations, jokes and multiple meeting operations roles.

Abstract
A vision is a clear, strategic, actionable picture of the future. It can be personal, professional or organizational and must be sufficiently creative and compelling to inspire dedicated action until it is achieved.
 
Transformation of a vision into reality requires committed engagement, the acquision of knowledge and skills, resulting in continuous growth and the evolution of a new and improved person or organization.
 
This presentation will discuss how each of us can develop a detailed vision of our personal life, professional life or our organization.
 
Learning Objectives:

At the end of this presentation, participants will understand how to:
  • Use tools for mappping ideas, setting goals and establishing plans
  • Develop a vision for our professional life, personal life or organization
  • Establish actionable steps that will transform our vision into reality

About the Speaker

RamonaBaylor

Ramona Baylor, DTM, retired from the United States Army after serving for 21 years and is a veteran of two combat operations. She currently works at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC., in Civilian Human Resources as Supervisor for the Employee Services Branch.

Ramona and her team serve over 3000 Federal employees where communication and leadership are keys to their success. She is happily married to Ben and they have a 26-year-old daughter--Brianna. Toastmasters continue to be integral to her career development and advancement. 

Ramona’s life changed when she joined Toastmasters in August 2013!  Throughout her Toastmasters experience she has held several club officer roles, served as a District leader, competed at District Speech Contests and received the highest education award in 2018: Distinguished Toastmaster. 

Ramona currently serves as District 37 Program Quality Director East where she manages Speech Contests, Officer Training, District leader training, and the Annual Conference for 4400 members. She continues to give back to the members by mentoring 5 Toastmasters. 

Ramona has found personal and professional success by following the motto “it takes a village."

  1. This meeting is free for NCPMI & North Carolina Project Leaders Toastmasters (NCPL) members

  3. Snack/Finger food will be provided
  4. PDUs will be reported by NCPMI
  5. PMPs are required to provide their PMI numbers in order that their PDUs can be reported
  6. Please arrive on time in order that the meeting can start promptly
  7. Please leave the facility in equal or better condition than you found it
  8. The meeting will take place at Cisco Campus - Building 3, First Floor, The Vault Conference Room.  Click on Location for directions.  When you arrive, PLEASE LOOK FOR THE NCPMI & North Carolina Project Leaders Toastmasters signs.
