PMO CoP: People Management by Building Belonging with C.L.A.I.M.

Online

Abstract:

Project management is more about people management, especially in uncertain times. How is this done when the work force may be more disconnected than ever? How does a leader get those he leads to be invested in the vision of the project, excited to do a job with excellence without constant supervision? How does a leader build a safe and secure atmosphere for the project? What can a leader do to assure that the followers know their importance on the job? How can a leader draw out the best from those on the job? This session will examine answers to these questions as found in the C.L.A.I.M. strategy of building belonging.

Learning Objectives:

  • Be introduced to the C.L.A.I.M. strategy of building belonging
  • Share experiences of project management
  • Discuss ways to apply the C.L.A.I.M. strategy
